How To Get To Quang Nam
Quang Nam Province is located in the middle of Vietnam, 860km from Hanoi, 947km from Ho Chi Minh City, and 108km from Hue City. The province is on the National Highway 1A, the South- North railway and on the route of Danang?- Quang Nam- Kon Tum - Gia Lai - Dak Lak - Dak Nong - Binh Phuoc. Hoi An is 32km from Da Nang and can be reached by car, bus or minibus.
By Air
Regular flights are available for tourists through Da Nang International Airport, which is a short drive from Quang Nam. However, tourists from Ho Chi Minh city, Ha Noi and the City of Buon Ma Thuot can also easily get flights to Chu Lai Airport, and there is a special free shuttle bus to transfer to and from Tam Ky city. Da Nang airport is 30km away from Hoi An and 70 km from Tam Ky. Chu Lai airport is 25 km away from Tam Ky and 80 km from Hoi An.
By Boat
Most guests traveling to Quang Nam by boat must stop at Chan May Port (Hue province) or Tien Sa Port (Da Nang city). The distance from Chan May port to Hoi An is about 70 km and from the Tien Sa port to Hoi An it is about 40 km.
In Quang Nam, the waterway system is very convenient.
From Hoi An to Cham island, guests can go by high-speed boats at Cua Dai Port or by wooden boats at Bach Dang Port in the center of the ancient town.
From Hoi An to Kim Bong carpentry village, Thanh Ha pottery village, Ban Thach Mat weaving village, Thuan Tinh eco-tourism zone, Bay Mau coconut forest or My Son sanctuary and tourist spots along Thu Bon river, Truong Giang river.
By Train
Coming to Quang Nam by train, tourists must stop at the Da Nang or Tam Ky station. Hoi An is approximately 50 kilometers from the Tam Ky train station, and 30 from the Da Nang train station.
