How to get to An Giang

An Giang has a relatively convenient land and water transport system. National Road N°. 91 connects to Cambodia. Long Xuyen City is 190km south-west of Ho Chi Minh City, approximately 62km from Can Tho, 124km from My Tho (Tien Giang Province). Chau Doc City is 96km from Ha Tien (Kien Giang Province), 117km from Can Tho City, 179km from My Tho City, and 245km from Ho Chi Minh City.

Bus: There are buses from Long Xuyen City to Can Tho City, Ho Chi Minh City, and Tien Giang Province and from Chau Doc City to Can Tho City, Dong Nai Province, Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang Province, Khanh Hoa Province, and Tay Ninh Province.

Boat: There are two ferries from Long Xuyen City to Dong Thap Province including Vam Cong and An Hoa Ferries.

Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (Cambodia) via Vinh Xuong water border gate by Hang Chau Boat (Tel: (84-296) 3562 771) departing from Chau Doc at 7.30am; and by Cawaco Boat (Tel: (84-296) 2213 679) departing from Chau Doc at 8.30am everyday.
