A Brief Introduction of The Long Bien Golf Courses

Long Bien Golf Course is a 27-hole Nelson & Haworth designed layout. The Hanoi golf course is located on 350 hectares surrounded by the Dong Nai River and slightly south of and one of the closest courses to the center of Hanoi. The only downside of the location is the military airport adjacent to the golf course which creates some unwanted noise when airplanes take off and land.

The course is greased with Paspalum fairways, tee boxes, and rough while the greens are constructed of Tiff Eagle Bermuda grass. All areas are impeccably maintained which creates some of the best hitting surfaces of any Hanoi golf club.

Significant earth mounding and rows of palm trees frame most of the holes. Several streams meander through the course adding to the golf challenge and nice landscape. While the course plays to only 6700 yards from the blue tees, out-of-bounds and deep fairway bunkers on many holes makes accuracy better rewarded than distance at Long Bien. Also most greens are elevated from the fairway height which also puts a premium on good chipping to be able to scramble and have chances for getting up-and-down.

One of the best scoring holes is the short par-5 fifth. A long drive between the fairway bunkers will catch the downslope and makes reaching the green in two a good possibility. However, beware of the large bunkers fronting the slightly elevated green. Hole 6 is a dogleg left par-4 and one of the most challenging at Long Bien. This hole can be long and uphill when playing into the wind. A tee shot is down the right side, to avoid the gigantic waste bunker down the left is critical to reach the green in regulation. Par is a good score on this hole.

The TifDwarf greens are small in size but very fair as are the tight Bermuda fairways. The well designed course is maintained by our team of foreign experts and local understudies.

Mountainview Course was designed in 2004 by Pacific Coast Designs (PCD) based out of Australia. They have designed Mountainview in a way that takes full advantage of the unbelievable views of the surrounding mountains located in The Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village. The spectacular wooded 18 holes is a Par 72 reaching lengths of 7,000 yards from the Gold tees. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy putting on the Novotec greens specifically brought in from Australia to survive in the climate of Northern Vietnam. A Brief Introduction of The Ha Noi Golf Club

Located at the foot of mountain region in Minh Tri Commune, Soc Son District, about 15 minutes from Noi Bai International Airport or 40 minutes by car from the center of Ha Noi. Ha Noi Golf Club is an ideal course for golfers to express their deep passion for golf.

The course covers an area of 108 hectares, Ha Noi Golf Club is generally recognized as the first and only Japanese-managed golf course in Vietnam. The course has the reputation as being a high quality course and perfect service and facilities.

The green is very wide with well-maintained surface, slight degrees of undulation allow for run up shots or low trajectory approach shot. The flexibility of 27 continuous holes provides many different ways for golfers to use. Depending on tee positions, the course provides enjoyments and challenges to complete beginners, players who wish to lower their handicap as well as elite players who need to fine tune their game.

Golf is very dependent on a quality grass surface which significantly affect how the balls are played, the entire course is covered by Tifgreen 328 Bermuda grass. Beautiful dark green, fine texture grass is daily cared by high technology and advanced techniques under the guidance of experienced grass expert – Mr Hiromu Nakaoka.

The Clubhouse provides an outside deck with a spectacular view from the terraces to the golf course. The facility was designed not only with the individual golf enthusiast in mind but also for business, including functions, meetings and conferences.
