Binh Ba island

Binh Ba island

On a boat from Da Bac Port one day, we traveled to Binh Ba Island (in Cam Binh Commune, Cam Ranh District), which is famous for lobsters, specialty of Khanh Hoa Province.

The whole commune features 4,500 lobster cages, mainly in Binh Ba. On one-hour boat trip on sea, we had a chance to contemplate beautiful landscape of blue sea, huge sky, scattered islands and the scene of floating boats or fishermen dropping net. When our boat came near Binh Ba Island, we saw a lot of lobster rafts close together.

Lobster specialty, neglected beaches, colorful corals and plain life of the residents are attractions of Binh Ba. The island now has no hotels. Visitors can board at private houses and pitch tent on beaches. Binh Ba Island has beautiful beaches, namely Chuong, Cay Me, Nha Cu, Bo De and Nom. Tourists also can climb up to a blockhouse to contemplate overview of the island or hire motorbikes and cars to go around the island.
